Boba da Corte
About the project
Since February 2026, A Lateral has been part of the Artemrede Co-productions Programme 2026–2027, developing cultural mediation work within Boba da Corte, a project by Brazilian artist, dancer and choreographer Gaya de Medeiros.
Our work focuses on a territorial approach to cultural mediation, creating connections between artistic creation processes, cultural institutions and local communities.
The project seeks to expand participation, engage new audiences and strengthen the relationship between cultural spaces and the territories in which they operate.

The questions opened by artistic processes need to be relevant to local contexts and articulated with local actors if they are to remain alive beyond the presence of artists and cultural programmes.
